JF Excavating was built from the ground up by owner Justin Funk, a hard worker with a passion for creating level, clean, functional outdoor spaces.

Justin got his start running equipment for local farmers and working in the logging industry before branching out on his own.

What began as a small lawn care business quickly grew into landscaping, and eventually into full-scale excavation and hardscape projects.

After renting equipment for a while, Justin was able to invest in his own machines, allowing him to take on bigger projects with more precision.

As a licensed contractor in West Virginia (WV #063635), Justin leads JF Excavating with a commitment to precision, quality craftsmanship, and dependable service that clients can count on.
